To splurge or not to splurge....

I've been wrestling for a couple of days to use the last of  my $ stash to buy a rocker/recliner/glider or combo of all. We only have 1 chair in our house and it's a leather recliner. I don't really have the space in Jackson's room to put a chair, but our bedroom has more than enough space to make me a little mommy nook for late night feedings and I could see myself snuggling up to read a book or watch a movie with the kiddos too.

So...to splurge or not to splurge. Chairs are expensive!!!! Any thoughts mom's? Do you have one you recommend?? Sure looks comfy.....

Definitely SPLURGE!!!!! I think this was the biggest investment we made in preparation for Grayson, but by far the best! We got our rocker at Graham Kracker. Definitely a little pricey, but worth every penny in my opinion!!! There's nothing we use more! (except maybe the changing table.... ha!) I love it and think you will be so happy you made the investment! And, if you get a pretty neutral pattern (i.e. not a baby fabric) you can always use it somewhere in your home after your babies are grown! :)

Totally go for it! I love my snuggle chair. It has gone from the boys room to Henley's room. I would reccomend a glider or recliner over a rocker if you have carpet. I have the big over-stuffed leather rocker from Pottery Barn and I love it, but it does slide on the carpet. Todd big leather recliner (i got at Carter's) is in the living room and it is great to load up with my babies and watch a movie! Go for it and find something you love, totally worth it!

We splurged on the chair in our living room, and it was in the nursery for the first year and a half. I love it. Definitely the best baby purchase we made. It rocks and reclines. It is a "Best Chair" (that's the brand) from a local furniture store. And we had it covered in microfiber, which is soooo easy to clean. I (as well as hubby and my mom) have spent many nights in that chair and I'm so glad we have it!
