Kaitlyn turns 5!

My Little Miss turned 5 this week!
Sniff Sniff.
You are getting too big Miss Kaitlyn!
We celebrated you this morning with birthday pancakes.

Since brother's birthday is just a week away, we are having a joint birthday party for the kids next Saturday. We just couldn't let Kaitlyn wait to open a present until her party, so we let Kaitlyn open 2 presents.
The first was a Dora gymnastics doll. Kaitlyn started gymnastics this year with her friend Marisa and we are having our birthday party at a gymnastics place!
Kaitlyn's second present was another charm from daddy for her charm bracelet.
I love this special gift daddy gives his baby girl each year.
Kaitlyn has 5 charms on her braclet from daddy.

1st year: Baby Shoes because our sweet baby girl learned to walk
2nd year: Princess crown daddy gave K at her TuTu cute princess party
3rd year: Big Sis charm that she received just one week before her baby brother was born
4th year: "K" because Kaitlyn learned to write her name that year
5th year: Tent to remind them of their first Daddy/Daughter camp out

You My sweet KK mean the world to me! Thank you for bringing such joy into my heart!

Thankful Heart

Thankful for a few of my favorite things....family that lives so close, that Jesus is still working on me, fingerprints on the fridge, the chance to deliver a hot meal to someone in need today, the way my hubby loves his baby girl, that my little man has his mama wrapped around his finger, that God gets the glory for all things in our life. Praise Him from whom all blessings flow! Happy Thanksgiving

Uncle Shane got hitched!!

It was such a blessing to watch my brother Shane get married this weekend!

Little Miss had the great privilege to be the flower girl!

We had such a great time seeing so many sweet family memebers and most of all!!! welcoming Elizabeth into our family!!!

Congrats Shane-O!

Daddy/Daughter Campout

Chris and Kaitlyn went camping with their Indian Princess tribe.
I didn't know how Kaitlyn would respond to sleeping in a tent, but my little lady had quite the adventure with her daddy.
Kaitlyn made lots of new friends, had dinner by campfire each night, carved pumpkins, and made crafts!

It brings me such joy to see daddy loving on his baby girl! What a special treat for Chris and Kaitlyn to have "their" special getaway

We made it! ASK: Gifts of God

We finished up our Gifts of God study at ASK
We had so much fun finishing lessons 5-10 about all the GIFTS God has given to those who call Him Lord and Savior.
We learned about the gift of fellowship and prayer from the story of Daniel
The gift of wisdom & direction from King Solomon
The gift of friends and family from the story to Ruth & Naomi
And we especially loved learning about the gift of JESUS
