Baby Bledsoe

Thank you for all the prayers, phone calls, texts and e-mails today.

We are surrounded by such great family and friends and prayer support!!! 

We had our 2nd sonogram of Baby Bledsoe today that was scheduled to check up on the kidney's that had a little more fluid than they were supposed to in our last sonogram. 

Today, 1 kidney looks normal and 1 kidney is still a little abnormal but not too much to get worried about yet. 

Praise God for 1 good-looking kidney!!!

We will go back in 8 weeks and are praying for a healthy baby and 2 fully developed kidney's!!

Girls Weekend!

 

This past weekend me & the girls headed to Dallas for Jordan's Bachelorette Bash!

Whoa! Check out my baby bump!

I think she had a great time :)
In 2 months Miss Braun will be Mrs Bruno!!!!

 I am sure my friend Wynne will have lots more pictures of the weekend posted soon; fun times at dinner, shopping, in the limo, eating ice-cream, giggling and staying up way too late to talk all things girly and important :)

Daddy & KK had great fun last weekend too! I just can't figure out how to get the pictures off my mom's camera. I see they had hot-dogs on the grill and went camping in a tent in the backyard!

Chris said they slept in the tent until 5:45 am!! Who knew Little Miss Priss was so outdoorsy. HA!

Going to be honest....I am finding it so much easier to shop for a girl than a little boy :) 
I am liking this license plate wall art and these canvas numbers. Thinking of doing plaids and such...not really a baby theme. Any ideas??

Big Girl!!!

Kaitlyn is officially potty-trained! Sooooooo easy!!!! We tried when she turned 2 and she got it, just wasn't that into it. What they say is true...when they are ready you will know. It took about a day for her to figure it out and we've been wearing big girl panties ever since! She is such a BIG GIRL!! Only thing is, I used M&M's to reward her for going potty and now I think I've packed on a few 'cause an open bowl of M&M's is just too hard to pass by without stealing a handful :)

Speaking of my BIG GIRL, we are anxiously awaiting her new big girl daybed

and I am going gaga over some new fabric I found to make bedding. I am in love!!!!!!!!!!

Baby Boy Bledsoe has a name! 

Before Kaitlyn was born Chris heard the name Jaxon Appel from none other than his beloved Aggie Football. 

 

 Notice the spelling Jaxon. I love the name, love how it sounds, love how it fits with Chris' middle name Ryan ..but I am just not so sure about the spelling. I am leaning more towards the traditional spelling of Jackson. So I need your help!!! Thoughts please??

Weekend Fun!

We had a great weekend!
Friday night we grilled out and watched Date Night. Hilarious!
Saturday we had a birthday party, breakfast with grandparents, story time at Barnes & Nobles, a swim party, and an outdoor barbecue and concert at Chris' bosses house.Whew! By the end of the night Kaitlyn was exhausted!

Today, I have spent playing catchup on laundry and cleaning ...and all things I just love (that was sarcastic!) We did go visit Uncle B's house and the girls had fun playing dress up with Kaitlyn.

It's hard to believe the summer is almost over. My hubbie is on the countdown to the start of Aggie football and I am getting more anxious to start on the babies room. 3 months and 18 days to go!!!

God Made ME! and God Made Shapes!

This month we learned that

Kaitlyn did so well at learning SHAPES! 

We used cookie cutters to make cookies into fun SHAPES!

Daddy even joined us learning about SHAPES! 

We traced shapes with crayons

And sorted SHAPES!

 And make a picture out of SHAPES!

We had such a fun time learning and my little girl genius knows her SHAPES!

22 weeks pregnant and 18 weeks to go!!

Here is me & my BFF Cori who is 16 weeks along. We had a great weekend relaxing at the Frio River and catching up with each other....not so much on sleep though :)
